As an experienced Programme Manager skilled in programme management methodologies and with excellent organisational skills, you will be responsible for delivering end to end key change programmes across the Council. Having experience of general HR and financial management concepts, you will contribute to the development and implementation of the Council’s change programme and operating model across the Council.
You will be qualified to degree level in a relevant discipline such as Human Resources, Accountancy or Business Management, or have equivalent significant project & programme management and change management work experience. You will also have the skills required to influence change at all levels of the organisation, including supporting Services, Directors and Heads of Service to deliver change, together with the ability to multi-task whilst operating to tight deadlines and maintaining an attention to detail. The abilities to build rapport with, and create confidence in, employees and Elected Members and to lead a team of Project Managers are also key to this role.
This post is temporary until 31st March 2021.
