An exciting opportunity has arisen based within East Lothian Council for a Technical Lead to support the replacement of the housing management system for East Lothian Council.
The Technical Lead will be responsible for the design integrity, including integrations for the replacement Housing Management System, in line with technical requirements. Working closely with the project and operational teams they will ensure that delivery is compliant with user needs, aligned with IT strategy and standards and delivers a high quality and effective solution. This will involve participation in tender preparation and evaluation and liaising with software suppliers and ELC IT Service.
The successful candidate must have experience of the Systems Engineering lifecycle of a solution which includes requirements capture, design, analysis/modelling, integration, test, acceptance and implementation.
The successful candidate would be joining a dedicated project team delivering a key council system, offering potential for personal development and growth

Duration: 3 years fixed term with possible extension.
Hours: 36 hours per week
