CCAP Support Scientist
(Part-time – 18.5 hours per week)
Fixed Term Appointment – 2 years
Salary £17,079 pro rata
We require a Support Scientist to prepare sterile media and carry out wash-up duties in a busy microbiology laboratory. The work will mainly be for the Culture Collection of Algae and Protozoa (CCAP) but also supporting science projects at SAMS.
The successful candidate will have good organisation skills, be flexible and a good team-worker.
Full training will be provided, however, knowledge of chemistry would be an advantage.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain experience post education or looking for a career change.
We are looking for someone to start as soon as possible.
