We are looking for a well organised individual within the Adult Services Referral Team to ensure effective customer service is provided to our stakeholders and customers.
Duties for the post include working as part of a multi-functional Customer Service Team providing high quality customer focused service delivery across a wide range of services through a variety of channels including telephone, face to face and electronic methods
Duties will also include processing manual and computerised, client and service information; producing and analysing reports; document production including typing letters & reports; processing purchase orders.
Due to the nature of this role it is essential that you have effective customer care and organisational skills and a flexible approach, as well as effective communication skills as you will be liaising regularly with other Council staff and stakeholders.
It is essential that you have experience of working in a customer service role and carrying out a wide range of support duties, as well as working with a range of software packages including Microsoft Excel and databases. It is also essential that you have the ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative, work to deadlines and quality standards as well as being self-motivated and resilient when handling some challenging and vulnerable client groups.
It is desirable that you have knowledge of procurement systems (PECOS) as well as AIS and Info@Work. It is desirable you have an SVQ Level 2 in Customer Care or equivalent.
