To support our operations we require an Transport Manager to join our management team.

The successful applicant for the position of Transport Manager must have a proven track record, with previous transport management experience. Demonstrate excellent communication skills and be self-motivated.
This position is permanent, with a salary package to be negotiated.
SPECIALISED KNOWLEDGE; EXPERTISE AND/OR ABILITIES CONSISTENTLY REQUIRED:-
Effectively and continuously manage the transport activities of MGL. Good knowledge of heavy haulage and abnormal loads. Must hold Transport Manager CPC. Provide a transport service that meets the needs of the business. Adhere to all Operators Licence requirements. Routing and scheduling all vehicles and transport employees. Manage and maintain existing transport contracts and procuring and negotiating new transport contracts.
The position is based in Daviot, Inverness – Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm.
