An exciting opportunity has just opened up in our catering team for Front of House Team Members.
As part of the role you would be expected to deliver fantastic customer service to all of our customers, work with the rest of the team in providing a safe and clean working environment.
The Trails End Cafe & Snowgoose Restaurant are very busy at peak times, weekends and holidays so you are expected to be able to work under pressure at times. You must be presentable at all times and have desire to work within a team.
Requirements
Scope of Responsibilities
Work in both Snowgoose Restaurant and Trails End Café.
Provide natural, friendly and efficient service to all of our customers.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the department
Go through open & close procedures for Cafe & Restaurant.
Responsible use of tills/cash handling
Primary Tasks
Provide fantastic customer service to all customers.
Prepare and maintain a clean and tidy work area
Restock fridges and serveries as required throughout the day.
Make sure stock is rotated where applicable.
Go through open & close procedures for restaurant and bar.
Communicating with other members of the team to ensure efficiency.
Multi-tasking, using initiative and prioritizing work
Working shifts for any catering events and functions
Knowledge and Skills Required
Engage with customers and provide excellent customer service skills.
Basic food hygiene certificate is desired – not essential.
Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
Experience in use of tills and cash handling
Ability to interact with customers, informing them about other areas of the business & the local area.
