To provide care, support and protection to children and young people in order to meet their social, emotional, physical, intellectual and spiritual needs.
Relief work is offered on an ad hoc basis to cover for staff absence or holidays. The role is to care for an supervise the group of children and young people living in the house ensuring that their needs are met within the context of a therapeutic environment, making sure that all children and young peiple living in the house are protected from harm and risk.
Work with the children and young people in the service to assit them to undersand and make sense of their previous life experiences, respond appripriately to ensure that their mental health needs are met, advocate on their behalf and well being and support them in "ordinary living" experiences
