About the role 


As a Student Intern within one of our talented teams you’ll play a pivotal role in the way in which our whisky production process takes shape and will spend time in relevant departments to learn what, how and why we do what we do. 

You’ll identify potential process improvement areas, carry out data collection and analysis to determine the feasibility of proposed improvements and present recommendations and proposals to senior members of the business in terms of potential financial and environmental benefits  


You’ll be given the freedom to work on your own projects, supported by a network of dedicated teams who want to see you succeed. 


Health and safety compliance is key and you’ll be at the forefront of making sure this is monitored alongside other KPI’s and targets. 


The role will cover a core shift pattern consisting of 8am-5pm Monday to Friday (8am-1pm on a Friday in Scotland)  however flexibility is key to success in our business and many of our staff work flexibly in many different ways. About you  


We’re looking for someone who can work well within a team as well as the ability to make effective decisions and thrive in situations where they can solve problems. 

You’ll be able to push forward your own ideas about improvements to current approaches and appraise new opportunities. You’ll have the drive to make a positive difference to manufacturing excellence and show your excellent communication skills. 


You’ll have demonstrable knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and environmental risk principles. 

You’ll be responsible for reporting findings and suggestions to your team and senior members of the business on various platforms and so you’ll have proven IT skills.
