We have a great opportunity for a People Manager - Learning and Development to support our Central teams based at our head office in Bradford West Yorkshire. This is a 12 month fixed term, full time position. 


The role will be leading the learning and development agenda for a number of departments. You’ll be helping develop a learning culture, bringing creative ideas and always looking at what best practice is out there.  You’ll also be driving safe and legal training compliance improvements whilst engaging with senior stakeholders to plan the Learning and Development agenda. In addition you’ll support the development and delivery of pathways programmes and design and will facilitate team sessions and events.


You’ll be responsible for things like this:

  • Designing management development resources for team building 

  • Designing and delivering technical and behavioural training programmes

  • Design and coordination of new starter essentials

  • Facilitation of large scale learning events 

  • Enhancing and aligning development for Graduates and Degree apprentices


You’ll need the following skills and experience:

  • Self starter, able to juggle multiple projects, work stream and stakeholders

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, experience of delivering through others (own team and through influencing outside own team)

  • Experience of working in a Head office work environment would be highly advantageous 

  • Project delivery skills, structured and organised

  • Management and Leadership development design/ delivery

  • Facilitation skills

  • Attention to detail
