We are currently recruiting for individuals to help support and assist service users in a care home setting within various locations across North Lanarkshire. If successful you will be part of a team working together to deliver and maintain high standards of care to residents which ensures their emotional, physical and wellbeing needs are safety met.
A SVQ Level 3 or HNC in Social Care or equivalent or a willingness to gain this qualification to allow registration with the SSSC is essential. Previous experience in a social care setting is also desirable. You must be able to demonstrate that you can provide care in a way which maintains dignity and is respectful to the privacy and dignity of residents.
You should be an effective communicator who is self-motivated and friendly, with an approachable and compassionate manner. In return, we will offer opportunities for you to develop your experience further and assist with your ongoing continued personal development.
A driving licence is desirable.
You will require to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member prior to commencing in this role.
You will also be registered or eligible for registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).
