CARDIAC SPECIALIST NURSE (NUCLEAR MEDICINE)

16 HOURS PER WEEK, PERMANENT

SALARY SCALE:  BAND 6 - £31,800 - £39,169 PRO RATA PER ANNUM


We are seeking to appoint a motivated individual to support our Nuclear Medicine Team.  The successful applicant will conduct the pharmacological stress sessions and administrations for patients undergoing Myocardial Perfusion Imaging in Nuclear Medicine.

Ideally you should have experience in nursing acute and cardiac patients and be prepared to undertake further training in stress testing for Nuclear Cardiology, including safe handling and administration of radioactive material.  However a full CPD programme will be provided to support the person appointed.  Intermediate Life Support skills are essential.

You will require good team working skills and be able to work independently on your own initiative.
