We are seeking exceptional candidates for the role of Senior Lecturer in Assistive Technology, within Computing, part of the School of Science and Engineering. The successful candidate will significantly enhance our research and teaching strengths, attract external funding and foster interdisciplinary links across the School and the wider University.
We encourage applications from candidates with a strong teaching and research or professional track record in Assistive Technology. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the development of a new MSc in Educational Assistive Technology and research through publications of the highest quality supported by appropriate research funding.
The successful candidate will be expected to take an active role in developing a blended (online and on-campus) MSc programme in Educational Assistive Technology. Candidates will also contribute to teaching on BSc programmes (Applied Computing, Computer Science, and Human Computer Interaction) as well as our MSc programmes (Computing, Applied Computing, Information Technology and International Business, Data Science, and Data Engineering). This is a full-time and permanent (tenured) position, available from August 2020 or soon as possible thereafter.
