About the role:

It’s fantastic to see so many people come to Woodlands to create amazing memories day after day. We love reading the seemingly never-ending 5-star reviews, but it’s safe to say that so much of this is thanks to our incredible housekeeping team.

Keeping our properties (19 luxury lodges, a clubhouse building, offices and ancillary buildings) exceptionally clean and in top condition so consistently day in day out is no easy task! It’s a physically demanding job that requires huge attention to detail and a strong work ethic, but if you enjoy cleaning it’s also very rewarding.

We are passionate about building an award-winning, market leading business that achieves real excellence and a huge part of this is building a brilliant team. We are positive, like to work hard and get things done and you will be expected to do the same! In return we will support and train you as best we can, offering remuneration of £13.00 per hour and 28 days paid holiday (pro rata).

We are typically always very busy and fully booked most of the time; so this is a year-round position with good, consistent hours. A typical working day is from 11am to 3pm but less/ more hours may be available depending on your situation – please do ask.

Requirements

The things we will look at for excellence in this role: 

  1. You clean to a very high standard and are good at making spaces “sparkle”.
  2. You have strong attention to detail, and make sure that all the little details are right.
  3. You have good organisational / time management skills, and are be able to clean to a
    deadline.
  4. You work well with others, have good interpersonal relationships and are “team”
    minded.
  5. You present yourself professionally and have a friendly / approachable attitude.
  6. You are physically fit and able to lift heavy items such as boxes, linen etc.
  7. You are happy to work outdoors in all weathers (you’ll spend some of the day walking
    between lodges)
