Activity Guide

As an Activity Guide you will lead our daily activities across the Estate! From entertaining guests on your Segway or Archery to helping golfers with their buggy hire. Its your job to make sure our customers walk away from their experience with big smiles on their faces!...

About the role:


Our Master of Fun loves people, and works in our activity centre to make sure guests have an
amazing experience!From leading Segway Tours, to Archery sessions and more, most of your day will be spent with customers – making sure they are safe but also having a fun time; laughing, joking and generally connecting in a positive way. Personality and a good sense of humour is key!

When not with customers, you are responsible for keeping our fleet of equipment in tip top
condition. Cleaning Segways, servicing our fleet of E-Bikes and a range of Health & Safety
tasks around maintaining professional operations.

We are passionate about building an award-winning, market leading business that achieves
real excellence. A huge part of this is building a brilliant team – we are positive, like to work
hard and get things done and you will be expected to do the same! In return we will support
and train you as best we can, offering a remuneration from £12.21 per hour and 28 days paid
holiday (pro rata).

This role is seasonal (April – October) but year-round work may be available for the right
candidate. Working hours will be consistent – usually an 8 hour shift between 8am and 7pm
with regular weekend work likely. This is a full-time role but part-time work may be available
too - please just let us know in your application.

Requirements

  1. You are customer focussed, enjoy working with the public and always act in a positive, professional, enthusiastic and helpful way. 
  2. You’re a great communicator and have a good sense of humour!
  3. You have energy! And enjoy working with people, for long stretches of the day.
  4. You have a good understanding of the local area – and a good knowledge of the information that customers require.
  5. You present yourself well and have a friendly / approachable demeanour.
  6. You are very competent with a computer, and make sure your online booking systems are always accurate and up to date.
  7. You have excellent organisational / administration skills. Are detail oriented, double check everything and rarely makes mistakes.
  8. You follow and feed into our Standard Operating Procedures – Handbooks, ASANA & our Online Management System.
  9. You move fast and like to work efficiently to get lots done.
  10. You can stay cool under pressure - handling difficult customers with grace and professionalism.
  11. You’re neat, tidy, and organised – keeping the activity centre immaculate at all times.
  12. You’re flexible, and happy to help out wherever needed.
  13. You have a positive “can do” attitude and are solutions, not problems orientated.
  14. You’re a team player, and make effort to get along with colleagues.
