An opportunity has arisen within Justice and Looked After Children’s Services for the critical post of Group Manager on a fixed term basis for an initial period of two years. The successful applicant will be responsible for leading a substantial Modernisation change programme within Social Policy to take forward a range of digital transformation projects, including at its centre implementation of a new social work database system to replace SWIFT.
The successful applicant will have skills in understanding a range of data systems and be able to manage multiple projects involving Information Technology as they apply to Social Policy.
The post holder will have insight into the role of social work and its outcomes and an ability to work with a range of internal and external partners in order to drive cultural and system change.
This post requires a degree level qualification and, in particular, well developed skills in written and oral communication. The post holder requires to have extensive project management experience.
