Stirling Council requires a skilled project manager to play a lead role in the development and delivery of our City Region Deal Active Travel portfolio.
Stirling Council, in partnership with Clackmannanshire Council, has developed a CRD Active Travel Strategy which outlines a candidate list of active travel projects which will reduce carbon, improve connectivity, and contribute to inclusive growth across the city region. These projects will provide strategic linkages across both local authority areas, focusing on linking key population and education centres, as well as linking the more rural communities, linking people with services and opportunities across the life of the deal. The successful candidate will oversee the multiple aspects of the project, taking the project though: business case development; conceptual design; detailed design; construction; and handover whilst offering expertise in the areas of urban design, placemaking, active travel, transport planning and economic development. The successful candidate must have a proven track record in project development, project delivery and budget management whilst also being a confident and clear communicator.
