Position: Night Duty Supervisor

Locations: Edinburgh Central Youth Hostel, 9 Haddington Place, Leith Walk, Edinburgh EH7 4AL

Contract: Permanent

Hours per week: 32 hours per week (possibility of up to 40 hours per week)

Accommodation: This is a live-out post (however we can provide short-term staff accommodation to assist with relocation if you move to Scotland).

 

About the role of Night Duty Supervisor:

As a Night Duty Supervisor, you are at the heart of our night time operation. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about providing first class customer experience whilst contributing to synergy in achieving network wide success.

Reporting to General Manager, you will be part of our dedicated and friendly team, providing overnight supervision and security of the building as well as maximising sales opportunities through retail and drink service at night.

 

You will have:

-        A passion towards excellent customer service standards

-        An excellent communication skills and an inspirational approach to interacting with people

-        Flexibility in your approach to adapt to all situations including changing workload and demands

-        An enthusiastic and ‘can-do’ attitude

Good level of management and leadership skills, experience of night working or as a night duty supervisor including fire and emergency evacuation safety procedures, and being a personal licence holder would be advantageous.
