The postholder will provide administration and minute taker support for a variety of Health and Social Care meetings; including cases subject to Child Protection and Adult Support and Protection – including liaison with internal and external partners; collation and distribution of paperwork; minute taking of meetings and ensuring minutes and correspondence are produced within legislative timescales. Postholder will also support the minute taking of disciplinary hearings within the Social Work Service.
A flexible approach is required, as the postholer will require to travel to various venues across the authority and outwith East Ayrshire
The duties of this post requires access to the public sector network and therefore the successful applicant must complete a basic Disclosure Scotland application. A formal offer of employment with East Ayrshire Council will only be made once satisfactory clearance has been received. Any information that is disclosed on a basic disclosure will require to be discussed before a formal offer of employment is made.

Annual Salary £19,929 - £21,148
Post will be temporary until 31 December 2022.
