We are looking for a dynamic and experienced library professional to lead the Trust’s Library Services at a critical time in their development. After ten years of being operated by Falkirk Community Trust, the services will transfer to Falkirk Council with effect from 1 April 2022.
You will have a passion for great customer service and a good understanding of how technology will continue to shape and influence service delivery.
You will be a Member of Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals (MCLIP) and will be able to demonstrate experience at managerial level within the library and information sector with a proven track record of success.
If you are a confident and persuasive advocate for libraries with excellent leadership skills and experience of managing change, we’d be delighted to meet you.

The successful applicant will be employed by Falkirk Community Trust. The Trust is a charitable company set up by Falkirk Council to deliver culture, library, recreation and sport services on its behalf from 1st July 2011 but will transfer to Falkirk Council on 1 April 2022.
