Based at The Russell Institute, 30 Causeyside Street, Paisley.

Invest in Renfrewshire is Renfrewshire Council’s Employability Service which aims to boost the local economy and tackle unemployment.

We are looking for a highly motivated person, seeking a challenging role within a busy economic development environment. Working as part of a team, you will be responsible for engaging with participants who have a conviction and provide tailored and bespoke support to enable progress to a sustained and positive destination. This could be employment, education or training.

It is essential that you have a minimum of a SVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent in relevant discipline or relevant experience at an appropriate level working in an employability environment supporting individuals into positive and sustained destination. It is essential that you will be able to demonstrate experience of working in a similar post delivering employability interventions and dedicated support to individuals to secure employment.

It is desirable that you have experience of working in a multi-disciplinary team.
