Salary: Up to £19,772 per annum dependent on experience

Due to significant investment within the company we are looking to recruit a Mechanical Treatment Operative to work as directed by the Mechanical Treatment Supervisor to complete lice treatments.  


  • Technical Standards – operates to the highest standard of husbandry, biosecurity, and quality standards and supports the Mechanical Treatment Supervisor. Highlighting and reacting to issues when appropriate in areas such as: Stock Containment, Production, Environment, Quality, Health and Safety, Fish Welfare, Biosecurity, Hygiene and staff.
  • Treatment Operations – To assist and participate in the daily site treatment process, operations and follow all SOP’s.
  • Measurement & Control – Understands the site KPIs and supports both the Mechanical Treatment Supervisor and Site manager to ensure that these KPIs are used to improve site performance.
  • Health & Safety – Follows safe working practices and ensure a safe working environment exists for all employees on the team. To ensure that all duties are performed in a safe manner so that no risk to health and safety arises to yourself or any other employee. As a minimum meets the standards set out in the Group Health & Safety policy.
  • Skills Training – Attends all courses as required; Supports team members with training & development. Only operates machinery authorised and trained to do so.


  • Experience of working within the marine industry
  • Ability to pass a full ML5 medical
  • Experience of working on and around boats
  • Flexible attitude to working hours and working arrangements, be willing to undertake significant travel as and when required. Will be required to work at Marine sites if not treating.
  • Ability to work within a small team
  • Good communication skills – able to pass on information clearly and precisely.
  • Sound understanding of the importance of H&S issues
  • Full clean driving licence
