Playing a key role at Cochran’s Newbie facility near Annan, a Caulker’s work is primarily centred on the grinding and dressing of boilers and component parts to an exemplary standard.
Working on our world-renowned industrial boilers as part of a highly experienced, professional team, the successful candidate will also be responsible for insertion and expansion of tubes and the hydraulic pressure testing of boilers and other pressure vessels.
As a Cochran Caulker you will also undertake oxy-acetylene cutting and gouging, as well as operating the company’s leading edge high definition CNC Plasma Cutting machine.
Extensive experience in a related engineering role and appropriate professional qualifications are of course essential, however full training will be provided for the right candidate to ensure they measure up to Cochran’s internationally famous build quality standards.
