Required to provide an efficient and effective administrative support service to the Home Care Team ensuring that office cover is provided during office hours, ie 9.00am - 5.00pm.
You will be expected to become competent in the use of CallConfirmLive and CareFirst and provide support and training to other employees as required. You will be required to undertake quality assurance checks to ensure that the data held on electronic systems is accurate. You will undertake a wide range of administrative tasks in relation to the organisation and implementation of care packages and assist with tasks associated with delivery of services and the payroll function.
You will be competent in using IT systems and software, such as Excel and Word and have experience of working in a busy office environment with a knowledge and understanding of office procedures. You will have good verbal and written communication skills, be a team player and have the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. You should hold an SVQ Level 2 in Administration/Business Studies (or equivalent).
Salary for the above post is inclusive of Distant Islands Allowance. Appointment to the post will be on the first point of scale with annual incremental progression.
