We have an excellent fixed term opportunity within our Workplace Change team until the end of 2022!
This role will support the implementation of the workplace reimagination components of the ‘New Ways of Working’ Programme. This Programme is delivering workplace, technology and HR policy change to enable blending working at abrdn across the workplace, home or other locations.
The successful applicant will manage the workplace reimagination workstream of the New Ways of Working Programme, working with an third party consultant, and internally with IT, Workplace and HR to delivery significant changes to some global buildings, the most significant of which is located in Edinburgh city centre. This role requires vision and the ability to communicate this vision, combined with the experience of working with internal and external stakeholders, and managing budgets, timing of delivery and end outcome.
Knowledge, skills and experience required includes:
Strong project delivery background
- Workplace experience
- Previous experience of leading or inputting to large projects or business as usual change
- A proven track record of having developed strong and influential relationships with a variety of relevant key stakeholders
- Highly developed communication and relationship management skills through regular interaction with external and internal stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Relevant Professional qualification in property or facilities is advantageous
- Experience of developing workplace and property strategies to ensure the needs of the business are met.
- Leading and engaging multifunctional teams globally.
