We are looking for somebody to step into the role of nightshift Team Leader within our Hygiene team. As a support to the Nightshift Hygiene Manager, you’ll support the team on the factory floor, making sure they complete their tasks and responsibilities with a view to standing in for the Nightshift Hygiene Manager during absence and holidays. You’ll develop your own skills, knowledge and competencies to meet team aims and individual objectives, all the while working towards achieving our business targets.

In this role you’ll support the Nightshift Hygiene Manager in supervising all areas in the nightshift Hygiene Team remit. You’ll make sure all equipment operates to the correct standards and all tasks are carried out effectively and your team comply with all Company standards including general hygiene and health and safety. Working closely with other Nightshift Team Leaders and the Nightshift Hygiene Manager, you’ll ensure the efficient use of stock and labour through the operation to deliver required standards in addition to making sure the team maximise productivity on a shift to shift basis. You’ll also mentor the Key Operators in your team to bring them up to scratch on stand in Team Leader duties and responsibilities. All documents will be recorded accurately and you’ll ensure all necessary paperwork is completed and signed off.   

As a person, you’ll be able to motivate your team to get results and communicate with them as well as your key contacts throughout the business. You will be someone who can be trusted to get results while maintain the welfare of your team at the same time.

Ideally, you’ll have some experience in supervising a team of people to allow you to stand in for the Nightshift Hygiene Manager in their absence. Coming from a manufacturing background, you’ll have an understanding of the importance of keeping the factory clean and tidy and supporting your key stakeholders. With responsibility for looking after a team, your understanding of Health and Safety in this environment will be second to none and you’ll have the flexibility to work additional hours when required.

This role is contracted to (on average) 38.5 hours per week and is currently operating on a 2-2-3 shift pattern working 12 hours per shift. This is to allow us to facilitate 'COVID bubbles' to reduce the risk of cross contamination across departments and the shifts will be in place until further notice.
