West Highland College UHI is looking to appoint an Information Management Officer to support the transformative change in the college’s Information Management systems including the implementation of SharePoint and Microsoft Teams. This will incorporate information security, records management, data protection, freedom of information and the wider information agenda and to ensure compliance across the college.
The successful candidate will be expected to train and advise staff on the effective use of college SharePoint sites, Microsoft Teams and Office 365, and other systems, as well as complying with records management requirements. A further requirement of the role will be to research and assist in the development, review and implementation of strategies, policies, procedures and advice in order to meet regulations.
We are looking for someone who possesses proficient Excel skills and proven skills to analyse statistical information. The successful candidate will have proven experience of document management and storage systems and ideally hold a qualification in Computing Science or similar.
The role has autonomy and requires excellent organisational and collaborative skills and will also connect through a group across the university.
Location - Any
Salary - £27,147 per annum (pro-rata), Fixed term for 1 year initially (ends 31/07/2022), 33 days annual leave per year (pro-rata)
Working Hours - 21 hours per week
