Advert

East Renfrewshire Culture & Leisure Ltd are looking for swimming instructors to add to their bank of casual workers.

Our swimming programme offers a variety of opportunities to all who want to be involved in the sport.  As well as our popular Scottish Swimming Learn to Swim programme, we offer a range of coach-led aqua activities and swimming lessons for adults, children and adults with disabilities.

Initially work will be allocated on a strictly casual basis and you will be asked to work hours, without commitment, to suit the requirements of the service.  Due to the success of our swimming programmes there is a strong possibility that posts will become permanent during the first few months.

Salary

Our pay, grading and benefits structure is modern, fair and delivers equality. We support equal opportunities in employment and recognise that to achieve this, we must have a pay and grading structure that is flexible and transparent.

Working with the Swimming Development team is dependent on evidence of satisfactory attainment of the skills, qualifications and competencies required for your role.

Open to All

East Renfrewshire Culture and Leisure Ltd really do welcome applications from all levels of ability and all sectors of society.  As a Trust, we would encourage you to apply, whether you are a school leaver, graduate, experienced professional, manual worker, have just been made redundant, or, indeed, are someone who has found it difficult to get a job in the past.

East Renfrewshire Culture and Leisure is a charity with over 400 employees delivering sport, leisure, arts and culture services in East Renfrewshire. We operate libraries, sports centres, a theatre and community facilities. The successful applicant will be an employee of East Renfrewshire Culture & Leisure Trust and not East Renfrewshire Council.

This post is considered Regulated Work with Children, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. It is an offence therefore to apply if you are barred from working with children.
