Fife Council Procurement has recently undergone a period of significant change and is now looking for an individual who is keen to build on their existing people, analysis and negotiation skills and apply these within a procurement setting to deliver value to the communities of Fife.
All candidates are expected to review the buyer profile and demonstrate how they would bring their own skills and experience to the role
The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking low value, low risk tender activity, P2P related processes including the management of orders to assist Procurement Teams in the delivery of its Procurement Strategy, ensuring the Council obtains best value for all third party external spend.

You are required to be educated to SVQ2 level, National Certificate or Higher Grade level (or equivalent) or qualified by experience (working within a Procurement environment).
Experience of working within a Procurement team would be desirable particularly where tendering, managing quotations or mini – competitions has been undertaken although on the job training will be provided.
