Technician Assistant (Facilities)
Are you keen to be part of a hardworking and innovative team working hard to deliver business improvements and the best possible support to the business?
If so, we’re looking for someone to join our Facilities Team to be responsible for keeping our buildings and equipment in tip top condition. As an Assistant Technician you’ll be dexterous and able to turn your hand to any general task whether it’s maintaining and repairing plant and facility equipment, machinery and systems or liaising with, assisting and monitoring external contract workers.
The successful candidate will be able to use their initiative to prioritise tasks and have literacy and numeracy skills to be able to write clear shift and defects reports. You’ll be a self-starter who’s always looking for the next task to be completed with strong interpersonal skills to be able to welcome visitors and contractors into our site.
Ideally, you’ll be adaptable and trustworthy and be flexible to work various hours and shift patterns. We want someone who is a great team player who takes pride in their work and seeing tasks through to completion.
