Job Description

Our Global Transitions Team has an excellent opportunity to recruit a Transition Design and Demand Manager on a fixed term basis until March 2023!

The Global Transitions team plays a core role in facilitating innovative product development, segregated client onboarding & client lifecycle events, and managing strategic insurance client instructions.

The successful applicant will manage the Global Transitions team of 4 analysts located in the UK and the US.  This role requires vision and the ability to communicate this vision, combined with the experience of working with a team to manage completing demands and communicate well with internal and external stakeholders.

A key part of the role is to liaise with our Client Servicing and Product Development teams to understand what they need, and be the voice of the client when working with internal SME’s within Operations, Front Office, Client and Product teams, and 3rd party administrators to build a solution which meets the client requirements. This role operates across all asset classes (public & private). In doing this we contribute to operational excellence within abrdn and help to secure a first class client experience.

Knowledge, skills and experience required includes:

  • Experience of leading a team
  • A proven track record of having developed strong and influential relationships with a variety of relevant key stakeholders
  • Highly developed communication and relationship management skills through regular interaction with external and internal stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong end to end understanding of the end to end Asset Management Operating Model
