You will deliver training and employability support to unemployed adults and adults with additional support needs in partnership with the Adult Learning, Hebridean Independent Living and Learning Service (HILLS) and Outer Hebrides Managing Employability, Education and Training (OHMEET) teams.
You will be educated to degree level or equivalent or have proven relevant experience. Training and/or experience in delivering employability learning and/or carrying out vocational profiling and job coaching is essential along with knowledge of the local labour marked and potential barriers to employment. Ability to communicate effectively with service users from a variety of backgrounds is essential along with the ability to work on own initiative, as part of a team and motivate others. A driving licence is essential.
Appointment to the post is fixed term to 31 December 2022.
Salary for the above post is inclusive of Distant Islands Allowance. Appointment to the post will be on the first point of grade.
