We are seeking a Reception Services Officer to support our Intake Service. You will provide a friendly, efficient and effective first point of contact for service users, carers and families who contact adult social care services, ensuring the delivery of a professional, high-quality and flexible service which is customer focused.
This will involve undertaking an initial screening of people’s needs to ensure that they are either appropriately signposted, low-level information is provided at first point of contact or their request is processed further for an initial assessment within Adult Social Care.
The aim is to give as many people as possible the information they need at the first point of contact and duties will include signposting, providing information and advice, initial screening, processing care plans and service requests.
You must have excellent computer and communication skills. Experience of Adult Social Care would be preferred but not essential.
