Clerk of Works - Mechanical Corporate Landlord (15/2447)

We are looking for employ a Clerk of Works – Mechanical Corporate Landlord who can specialise in electrical bias. This post is for 36 hours per week.
You must have a recognised qualification in the building construction field, with a minimum of a City and Guilds (or equivalent) in a relevant mechanical trade (plumbing, electrical, maintenance). You preferably will be education to SCQF Level 8 (HND / SVQ Level 4) or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical engineering.
You must have moderate post-qualification experience in a relevant role, experience of building/property maintenance as well as acting as Foreman/Chargehand on construction projects.
You must have good communication skills, the ability to deal sympathetically but firmly with all stakeholders, be firm but fair with contractors and be able to interpret drawings, specification and bills of quantities.
Knowledge of mechanical and electrical works, processes, trades and techniques is essential.
A current driving licence is an essential requirement of this post. However, if you have a disability which precludes you from holding a driving licence consideration will be given if alternative transport can be arranged.
