We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual, who will deliver fun, creative and engaging Netball coaching sessions, to the young people involved in our Netball program. You will work in our Sports Development team, and in partnership with Braes Blazers Junior Netball Club. In a short period of time, we have demonstrated growth and success in the club and we now need the correct person to allow us to develop our players on the court.

As a Head Coach, your role is all about leading the delivery of a creative, fun and structured coaching sessions. We are looking for a motivated and inspiring person who can demonstrate experience of coaching netball to children aged from 8 -16 and have the ability to mentor our assistant and volunteer coaches. The post requires self-motivation, flexibility, team work and strong communication skills. Your role will also involve inspiring active lives and motivating young people to develop their sporting skills and promote the benefits of an active healthy lifestyle through sport.

Your coaching role will involve coaching in our sport development coaching programme with potential opportunities to support primary and secondary school coaching, school holiday programme and at netball events.

Wednesday at Braes High School

P5 to P7 from 6pm to 7pm

S1 from 7pm to 8pm

S2+ from 8pm to 9pm

We are looking for candidates with a minimum of a UKCC level 2 Netball qualification and can demonstrate experience coaching children aged 8-16.

If you are the successful candidate, you will be required to gain/maintain PVG scheme membership. 

It is planned that the services currently provided by Falkirk Community Trust will transfer to Falkirk Council with effect from 1st April 2022. On that basis, all employees working for the Trust on this date will transfer to the Council in line with Transfer of Undertakings Protection of Employment (TUPE) legislation.
