The driving force for this programme is simple - that care experienced and disadvantaged young people will have the same educational outcomes, career opportunities and life chances as any other young person.
Due to the transformational impact in other area across Scotland, Falkirk Council are now recruiting for fabulous, trailblazing Pathways Coordinators for across the area. Successful candidates will primarily be based in school, supporting and learning from existing teams. Within this role, you will be an integral part of the school community, liaising with staff and external stakeholders and delivering the programme to young people.
The role is hugely satisfying and varied. Your main responsibilities will include:
• Helping build exceptional individual relationships with young people across S1 to S6 and delivering S1 & S2 group work to full year curriculum
• Helping to drive mentor recruitment & consistently supporting, actively engaging & motivating mentors from training to matched status & through the length of engagement
• Actively support young people involved in the programme to set, experience & follow their education & employment pathways. Evidence progression, impact & best practice with YP input, quantitative feedback and qualitative case studies

There are 3 positions available, and these will be based at Graeme High School, Falkirk High School and Bo’ness Academy.
These 3 posts will all be Full Time hours.
If you are the successful candidate, you will be required to gain/maintain PVG scheme membership.
These post will be temporary until 30th June 2023.
