Duration: Full Time - 1 x Permanent, 1 x Fixed Term up to 12 Months & 1 x Fixed Term up to 24 Months

We're pleased to be able to highlight an exciting opportunity to join the Aberdeen City Health & Social Care Partnership. We are responsible under our Integration Joint Board for providing health and social care services for adults across the City. We have a real focus on improving health and wellbeing outcomes and enabling people to live at home or as independently as possible and are ambitious to become one of the leading health and social care partnerships in Scotland.

We are now seeking to recruit to the post of Transformation Programme Manager on both a permanent and fixed basis. These posts provide leadership in the delivery of priority transformation programmes to contribute to the sustainable delivery of the Aberdeen City Health and Social Care Strategic Plan.

This post will work within a team of Programme Managers and wider colleagues across a range of teams to lead and ensure effective programme management delivery of one or more significant and complex transformational programmes. You must be able to demonstrate the ability to lead and motivate multi-sector and community partnerships and have experience in leading and delivering complex change processes, as well as competence in understanding and working within a democratic system of governance.

You must be educated to degree level and have considerable experience in leading and completing significant transformation programmes.

Job Purpose:

To provide a leadership role in the delivery of priority transformation programmes to contribute to the delivery of the Aberdeen City Health and Social Care Strategic Plan.

This post will work within a team of Programme Managers across virtual teams to lead and ensure effective programme management delivery of one or more significant and complex transformational programmes.

Requirements

Highly developed specialist knowledge across range of procedures underpinned by theory and experience.

Masters Level or evidence of equivalent experience.

Degree in relevant field or equivalent experience.

Project or Programme Management Training or equivalent experience.

Membership of Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme or willingness to join.

 

Evidence of specialist knowledge of programme management, co-ordination and evaluation skills including working with external agencies (NHS Grampian, Local Authority and Voluntary / Third Sector).
