If you are an experienced Cleaner with a keen eye for detail and pride yourself on having a strong customer focus, we may have just the role for you!
We are looking for a Cleaner to join our team and provide a high-quality cleaning service, always ensuring that our areas are glistening!
You’ll focus on ensuring that your area’s are always cleaned efficiently (including toilets/bathrooms and shower areas) in a timely manner to the required standards. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all stocks are replenished and the cleaning cupboards are in a clean and tidy condition.
With a good working knowledge of all cleaning equipment, materials, and agents you’ll ensure to use chemicals safely and as detailed by the control of Substances Hazardous to health guidelines (COSHH).
The Ideal Candidate
If you have previous experience working in a cleaning team, that’s great! If not, but you have customer service experience and strong attention to detail, we still want to hear from you!
You will be customer facing and will respond to requests so having excellent customer service and communication skills is key. Being a team player is also important, there’s no ‘I’ in team!
Sodexo embeds a strong Safety culture in everything we do. There will be company procedures to follow alongside our Health & Safety practises so it is vital that you will champion this.
You will need to be a keen learner, as you will have continuous training opportunities throughout your career.
We are looking for a cleaning operative to join our team at Edinburgh Academy Junior School
The working hours are form Monday to Friday from 4pm- 8pm / 20 hours per week
Rate of pay is 9.50 per hour. The contract is Term Time Only which allows a member of staff to work in term time only but be paid throughout the year in equal monthly payments.
The number of working weeks is 36 a year.
We will require to go through PVG process which we will pay for you.
