Based in Dalkeith High School, as part of the School Pupil Support Team, you will make contact and develop constructive relationships with pupils with a view to encouraging participation in activities.
Evidence of competency in literacy and numeracy equivalent to standard grade level 3 and have considerable youth work experience.
Fully trained jobholders must hold a minimum SVQ3 level qualification in Youth Work, or equivalent subject, and have experience leading youth activities.
Youth Worker (B) Experienced jobholders who have not yet attained the SVQ3 level qualification in Youth Work but are currently studying towards it will be paid at scp 35.
Youth Worker (A) jobholders who can demonstrate literacy and numeracy equivalent to standard grade level 3 and who have considerable youth work experience will be paid at scp 31.
