The Aberdeenshire Community Learning and Development Team are inviting Qualified CLD workers to join us and contribute to local learning and development opportunities in Aberdeenshire. You will plan, promote, and deliver in the designated area in partnership with other services and agencies and in line with national and local priorities and identified need.
Successful candidates will be well organised, enthusiastic, and engaging, showing strong leadership qualities.
Key post duties are to deliver and co-ordinate adult learning opportunities, that can be online, blended and face to face. The Adult Learning team provides learning on core skills, family learning, literacies, ESOL, employability, and confidence building and wellbeing. All learning can include the opportunity for accreditation.
The ability to travel within Aberdeenshire is essential as well as some evening and occasional weekend work.
Recently qualified professionals welcome and attractive relocation packages are available for those meeting the criteria.
This post is regulated work with Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will be required to provide this check. A confirmed offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of both these pre-employment checks being deemed satisfactory.
