The Skills & Employment Initiatives Team are recruiting for an Employment Support Adviser to provide support to our clients and businesses on the Scottish Government Initiative, No One left Behind and Parental Employment Support Fund Projects. This is a temporary post up to 31/03/2022, with a possibility of immediate extension following funding review
A diverse and interesting post where you will multi-task to enhance delivery and outcomes on the aforementioned programme.
You will be dealing with clients from their first engagement with the programme until they ultimately reach their goals of progression within the workplace, assistance with access to skills training and finding and sustaining employment.
A degree of employer engagement work is necessary for success in this initiative. You will be dealing professionally with local businesses and forging relationships throughout the local employability network and key personnel within Perth and Kinross Council Education and Childcare Services and our Third Sector delivery and Skills Training partners.
We are looking for a dynamic, customer focussed and engaging person. Good communication and I.T skills are key to success in this role.
It would be beneficial to have experience of working in employability, in particular, providing support to both clients businesses and our Third Sector partner organisations and training providers.
Professional and personable, you will represent the team and wider local authority on local forums and networks.
Confidentiality is key in building trust with clients and businesses alike.

The post holder will have hybrid working split between the offices at Pullar House, Perth and home working. This job may have been mainly carried out by women but we would encourage you to apply if you meet the requirements irrespective of your gender.
