It is East Lothian Council's policy that successful applicants will be placed on the first point of the salary scale. The salary advertised is full time (35 hours per week). Part-time hours will be pro-rated accordingly.

We are looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join East Lothian Rehabilitation Service (ELRS) who is able to demonstrate experience of working in a community setting and, who has experience of rehabilitation and experience of assessing for equipment and longer-term adaptations.
This post is currently based at Belhaven Hospital in Dunbar with a team of Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists who work closely together to achieve the best outcomes for our clients. This is a small friendly team which forms part of the larger ELRS team who are based in three clusters throughout East Lothian (Musselburgh, Haddington, Dunbar). We have excellent training opportunities and encourage self-directed learning. You would receive regular supervision and development opportunities’ are available.

Educated to Dip/BSc/MSc in Occupational Therapy.
Registration as an Occupational Therapist with the Health Professions Council.
