As part of our Hot Tub Team you will be working across the Woodlands Estate keeping one of our key areas functioning. From daily checks and turnarounds to their inner workings and functionality. Further to the role are general maintenance requirements that will keep you busy ensuring no two days are the same.
Our story:
Woodlands Glencoe is a family business that leads the way when it comes to providing amazing and truly unforgettable experiences – in our luxury lodges, golf course and activity centre. Our business has been built on family values, positivity and hard work. We have big ambitions and are growing fast, so if you share our belief that the right mindset and work ethic can get you anywhere, we want to hear from you.
About the role:
Hot tubs are key to what we do at Woodlands, and we love reading the seemingly never-ending 5-star reviews that mention how the hot tub experience is just so special! We have 21 hot tubs in total, and a team dedicated to looking after them daily. Maintenance is also really important, and keeping things looking their best and operating the way they should is also really important to maintaining high standards across the business.
As our Hot Tub & Maintenance Operative you will be responsible for both looking after hot tubs and also general maintenance across the business. You will be trained to work on the hot tubs but will be expected to have a basic idea of plumbing and a practical mindset.
In terms of hot tubs, this typically means checking and topping up chemical levels and a fair amount of cleaning to ensure really high standards of cleanliness. Also, work around the decking areas of the lodges – cleaning, stocking firewood, leaf blowing etc. The job is typically low stress and nicely routine but is totally outdoors so you need to love being outside in all weathers (including midges!). It is also very physical, so good fitness is key.
The role includes lots of “doing” and training will be provided where required for the right person. Day to day will often involve getting your welly boots on and your hands mucky as you help the team fix problems and get things done! This position could be part or full time depending on your needs, but working hours at minimum would be 10.00am – 15.00pm.
We are passionate about building an award-winning, market leading business that achieves real excellence and a huge part of this is building a brilliant team. We are positive, like to work hard and get things done and you will be expected to do the same! In return we will support and train you as best we can, offering remuneration of £12.21. 28 days paid holiday also comes with the package.
