Learning Centre Facilitator / Receptionist

On the 1st August 2023, UHI West Highland, UHI North Highland and UHI Outer Hebrides 
merged to form UHI North, West and Hebrides, a partner of the University of the Highlands 
and Islands. With 600 staff and 19 campuses we cover an area larger than Wales and 
encompass more than 40% of Scotland’s coastline.

We are seeking a Learning Centre Facilitator/Receptionist to be based at our Ullapool College 
Centre.

The suitable candidate will live in close proximity to the centre and provide a high-quality 
customer service and should be someone who has an interest in education.

The post holder will have responsibility for key holding, preparing the classrooms, providing 
support and assistance in the use of IT for learning, undertaking administrative tasks and 
support in marketing the College. It is currently anticipated some of this support will be 
undertaken using remote delivery methods.

Additional activity may include supporting Employment and Development courses, school and 
other local events.

Training will be given on UHI North, West and Hebrides software.

Salary: £20,313 per annum, pro rata

Location: Ullapool

Working Hours: 3 hours 30 minutes per week

Contract: Fixed term
