Service: Customer Support Services - Customer Engagement

Argyll and Bute Council's Customer Engagement Team are recruiting a Customer Service Point Agent based in the Customer Service Point in Victoria Street, Rothesay. This is a temporary part time post working 17.5 hours per week (9.a.m. till 12.30 p.m. Monday to Friday) This post is for a period of 12 months and is for maternity cover.
To support the Customer Service Centre to provide a high quality, efficient and effective service to users by providing a high quality, customer-focused service within the Customer Service Centre Team, processing enquiries and requests, offering advice and information on Council Services, and carrying out a range of other duties in accordance with Council Policy, service guidelines and procedures
Provide an effective and efficient registration service, conducting civil marriages, civil partnerships, citizenship ceremonies, baby naming ceremonies, renewal of marriage vows and associated duties/paperwork including preparation of registers.

- The salary shown is the full time equivalent salary, the actual salary will be paid pro rata for the hours worked.
- This is a temporary post which may be filled on a secondment basis by an employee wishing to gain experience/career development and will be at the discretion of the employee’s director.
