Job Description
The Individual
You will be required to work with people of all ages who require specialist OT assessment and intervention. You will be expected to undertake comprehensive assessments and to arrange the provision of equipment, adaptations and community supports to assist individuals to achieve their optimum level of independence in the community. You will have strong assessment skills and a proven ability to work collaboratively with service users and carers. You will be able to demonstrate experience of multi-disciplinary working and be committed to working closely with colleagues from other disciplines.
You must be able to work effectively within a team and demonstrate a commitment to improving service provision. You will have good organisational skills and be able to manage a busy caseload.
Excellent verbal and written skills are essential.
You must have Diploma or Degree in Occupational Therapy.
You must be registered with HCPC.
Significant post qualification experience is highly desirable.
You must have a valid UK driving licence as this post requires you to travel to a variety of locations across Perth and Kinross.
