18 hours per week, salary pro rata, Fixed term until 11 August 2024
Williamston Primary School is a large, two stream, non-denominational school serving the Murieston area of Livingston which is part of the James Young cluster. The school role for this sessions is currently 421 pupils, organised over 15 classes, with a further 65 children attending a variety of sessions in the nursery, with the ELC role increasing.
The school benefits from a supportive and proactive Parent Council/PSA group. They are extremely enthusiastic, supportive and committed to improving the work and life of the school and ELC.
We actively encourage parents and carers to be part of their child’s learning at Williamston Primary School and ELC , sharing updates through our School App, Online Learner Journals and Twitter with photographs and information about what is going on within the school, nursery and individual classes. The school and ELC welcome feedback from our parents and we regularly engage with our families in a range of virtual ways.
You will find more information about our school, on our school website https://williamstonprimary.westlothian.org.uk/
We are keen to employ a diverse workforce that reflects the people of Scotland. We welcome applications from all backgrounds and particularly from groups currently under-represented, including people with disabilities, those from minority ethnic communities or from socio-economically disadvantaged backgrounds
