Please note successful applicants will be placed on the first point of the salary scale unless they meet certain criteria.
This is a 39 week post, working hours will be during school term only, the salary will be pro-rated accordingly. Please note the salary is advertised is fulltime (35 Hours per week, 52 weeks per year).
Role Purpose
We are looking for a bright, enthusiastic practitioner to join our team. A desire to deliver high quality childcare and experiences for our youngest learners is a must. The ability to work in a large, diverse team and always look to continuously improve our service.
Essential
HNC in Childhood Practice/Childcare & Education
SVQ Social Services (Children & Young People) SCQF 7 / SVQ 3 Children’s Care, Learning & Development
Applicants with an SNNEB/NNEB may be considered where they can evidence a record of on-going CPD during the past 5 years
All successful applicants for early learning and childcare posts will be required to be registered with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) within 6 months of appointment and maintain registration throughout the period of employment.
