Job Description

Based at Angus House, Orchardbank Business Park, Forfar.

This job is workstyle 5- Flexi.

You will have the opportunity to benefit from our flexible and agile working practices. This means you will work from home for part of your week and spend some time in council buildings to best suit your work, meetings and collaboration.

As a Quantity Surveyor Technician you will be working predominantly within the Housing Assets project team assisting in fulfilling Angus Council’s target to provide new affordable housing units, deliver EESSH compliance and a range of residential upgrades including bathrooms, kitchens and fabric upgrades including window and roof replacements. Knowledge of residential projects is desirable however development can be provided within the role. Prior experience of billing packages and relevant legislation is essential.
Our aim is to provide delivery of service efficiently and cost effectively to produce a well-designed end product that promotes Angus as a great place to live, work and visit. You will be joining a friendly motivated team with a broad range of experience and skill sets who will be supportive of your new role.
This is a career grade post and candidates will be considered who have an NC or HNC in a relevant building discipline, with salary placing as appropriate.
