Role Purpose
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated social workers to join our newly established Children Affected by Disability (CHAD) team in the role of senior social worker.
The main focus of allocations to this post holder's duties will be working with Children Affected by Disability or life limiting illness and their families.
We are looking for applicants with a sound value base, excellent communication and report writing skills who have a wide range of knowledge and understanding of supporting children and families in complex situations. Some knowledge of working with children affected by disability would be advantageous but not essential.
It is essential that you have knowledge of Children and Families social work legislation, roles and responsibilities.

Essential
Degree in Social Work, Dip SW, CQSW, CSS.
Registration with Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC)
Up-to-date understanding of the key issues and relevant theoretical background facing professional children and families social workers, particularly related to child protection and looked after children.
A current driving licence and use of a vehicle is an essential requirement of this post.
