Croftmalloch Primary School is a non-denominational school in the heart of Whitburn and has approximately 211 children on roll from P1 – P7 as well as a busy Nursery. We are rightly proud of the community in which we serve, and work hard to provide the best possible experiences and outcomes for our learners.
Working in Croftmalloch Primary School, the successful candidate will provide support to our children within and out with the classroom.
Duties will include assisting teachers in delivering high quality teaching & learning, supporting within a breakfast club and office where required, supervising children at play and lunchtimes, and attending to welfare needs of pupils. The post will be for until 31/03/2024 in the first instance.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience of working with children, and will be required to register with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC). If you are the successful candidate, you will be required to gain/maintain PVG scheme membership.

This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Successful candidates will be required to join the Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme Update check prior to commencing employment and the cost will be met by the candidate
This position requires registration with the SSSC. The successful candidate will have six months from commencement in this post to register with the SSSC. If you are already registered with SSSC you will be required to add West Lothian Council to your account
